About the event

Don't just watch - Learn! These short Workshops are perfect for connecting with other Performers, Aspiring Performers, and Comedy Enthusiasts as we zoom in to pieces of Acting, Improv Comedy and Stand-Up Comedy. It's a great time of laughs, learning, and connecting! 

Our Workshops are led in a "Teach you where you're at" way, which means that whether you've been performing for years or you've never done a bit of performing ever before, you'll have something to learn and something to share in a safe environment that embraces trying something new. 

Here's a quick summary of what each workshop will cover:

  1. Acting Workshop (1:00-2:00 - Exploring and Improving your Vocal Range - Through a series of unique exercises, we'll teach you about your current vocal range and explore a few ways to improve & diversity it to help your acting ability! Great for musicians and comedians as well. 
  2. Improv Comedy Workshop (2:00-3:00) - Creating Dynamic Characters - Explore a few ways to create new characters, and what makes those characters dynamic enough to use them in multiple situations. After all, a big piece to making a quality character is versatility! 
  3. Stand-Up Comedy Workshop (3:00-4:00) - Using Opposites and Time Travel - Explore two valuable tools in the Stand-Up Comedy toolbelt that can add depth & variety to your Premises while also causing the audience to lean in and wait for more!
