Stand-Up Comedy Fundamentals
The Stand-Up Comedy Fundamentals class introduces students to the foundational skills needed to build out a 5-minute Open Mic Night set. Through discussions, examples, and practice, students will explore the skills and concepts needed to write jokes, build out content, workshop jokes, and perform in a way that ties everything together for a more crafted set. Join our next class so you can explore the building blocks of Stand-Up Comedy, and get a good system for building out sets, so that your Open Mic Nights won't be painful or awkward, but more practiced, prepared, and professional.

Who's this Class for?

People who are just starting their Stand-Up Comedy journey, and want to learn how to successfully write their early jokes in a systematic way

People who have done a few Open Mic Nights, but want to learn a system that makes it more prepared and polished, and less "spray & pray"

People who want to have a consistent style and/or want to build out their content to be more consistently funny

Anyone who's curious about the fundamentals of Stand-Up, where to start, and what makes Stand-Up Comedians funny!
